This class is designed for curious clay explorers who’ve taken a few classes before and want to keep building their skills, as well as experienced potters who want to expand their surface and color vocabulary through colored clay.

What’s Included for Each Student:

  • One bag of white stoneware or porcelain

  • One pint of white decorating slip

  • All materials for preparing and mixing colored clay

  • Use of three ¼ lb mason stains (colors chosen ahead of class—look for an email with your options 3 weeks prior!)

  • Studio tools and safety equipment (gloves and masks)

  • Bisque firing of all work made during the session

Glaze time/firing is not included but can be scheduled and paid for separately through our website once your pieces are bisque-fired.

Maximum of 10 students in this class.

At least 3 people must be enrolled in the class for the class to run.

Ages 14+. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Note: This is a one day, 6 hour class. Participants can pick up their bisque ware 2-3 weeks after class.

Cancellation Policy:

All cancellation updates must be done through email to hello@spgalleryva.com.

If you need to cancel your booking and would like a full refund we require 7 days notice prior to the date of the class. If you miss the 7 day deadline and still need to cancel there is a 50% processing fee.

Refunds are not offered for cancellations within 48 hours of the class date, day-of cancellations, or no-shows.
